In addition to having worked in the real estate industry for the past several years Mel spent 33 years in retail management with a major corporation. Relocating 13 times during his career gives Mel an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the challenges and emotions involved with both home purchases and home sales. Mel is married to Shari, his wife of 35 years, who is a teacher at West Chatham Elementary School. They have two married daughters, one a 3rd grade teacher and the other a veterinarian. Mel enjoys travel, the beach and is a former pilot.
